Our team weave mural art and story-telling workshops together for the benefit of your community.

Our murals are inspired by the magical and fantastical. We want to inspire kids to find their inner playfulness and creativity. We draw ideas from fairytales, old and new, mythology and legends, connecting them with colors and weaving original short stories for kids to dream.

 

Our mural projects bring classrooms together, celebrates a space where creativity and ideas are encouraged and gives kids of all ages a structured opportunity to collaborate on a shared vision while gaining confidence developing skills in storytelling and mural painting. During our mural workshops, we lead people through the steps of creating a story, building a world right out of their imagination and we empower them to make it come alive with colors.

 

 

 

 

 

Here are the benefits of organizing a community mural with our team:

 

- Our mural represents a colorful, magical and collaborative representation of a story created by the students
 

- The process of creating the mural will be intentional and a fun educational effort involving students, teachers, parents and others in the community (if desired).

- The process will also foster an opportunity to learn about storytelling, art, mural design, teamwork and the power of creative expression.

Here is the program Overview:

​

​

Our workshop series introduces students to the art of visual storytelling—blending drawing, writing, and imagination to help them build their own characters, worlds, and narratives.

 

Across a series of 5 guided sessions, students will work with our team on the below:

​

 

Workshop 1

 

Introduction, team building games and imagination exercises

 

 

Workshop 2

​

Drawing sessions facilitated in a way to inspire spontaneous creativity and thinking out of the box

​

 

Workshop 3

​

 Writing session built around finding one's inspiration and joy in creating a story

 

 

Workshop 4

 

  Exploring color palettes and combinations and what effects     they have on our emotions. The resulting color schemes will be used for the mural design. 

 

 

Workshop 5

 

Putting all previous sessions together to make sure the mural design will reflect everyone's creativity and inputs. The result could be a unified piece or a patchwork of everyone's creations.

 

 

Culminating Project

The workshop will conclude with the creation of a permanent mural, designed and painted in collaboration with students. This mural not only reflects their stories but also becomes a lasting symbol of creativity, pride, and community connection.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Here are some first few steps:

​

- Mural meeting with school representatives (teachers and school leaders) to discuss a vision for the development of the workshop, potential timeline and location of the wall within the school.
 

- Collaborative sessions will be set with students and teachers to gather ideas and start creating a story based on the collective vision.
 

- A mural story board will be provided for approval by our artist.
 

- The mural will be created on time period agreed with students, teachers and other school leaders (so as not to disturb other classes and activities)
 

- Once funding has been agreed on, we will coordinate all materials (paints, brushes, etc...) for the duration of the project, lead the creative process, and offer artistic guidance throughout.

Regarding the funding, here are a few options (to be discussed with the school to make sure that it stays within desired budget).
